MICHAEL L. MASCHO Owner and Funeral Director

A lifelong resident of the Bradford area, Michael is a 1995 graduate of the Bradford Area High School. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford until moving to Pittsburgh in 1997 to attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he received his Associate in Specialized Business Degree in 1999. He returned back to Bradford where he did his funeral internship at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., after he finished his internship he stayed on as a licensed Funeral Director until 2006. At this time he moved to Shippensburg, Pennsylvania to further learn all the aspects of the funeral profession. In March of 2008 he took advantage of a great opportunity to move back home and purchase the Koch Chatley Gaeto Funeral Home, and rename it The Mascho Funeral Home, Inc in January of 2009. He is currently a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Pennsylvania Funeral Director's Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association. When not at the Funeral Home, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Olivia, their son, Michael Jr. and their family and friends, taking trips to the Allegheny Reservoir and attending the Buffalo Bills football games.  He was also elected by the residents of McKean County to serve as the county Coroner in November 2023.

A lifelong resident of the Bradford area, Olivia is a 2002 graduate of the Bradford Area High School. She is a 2015 of the Jamestown Community College Cattaraugus Campus; where she obtained a degree in Applied Science of Nursing. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at an area Oncologist's office. She is currently a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Bradford Area Lions Club; where she is currently serving as the club Vice President and a Past President. When not at the Funeral Home, Olivia enjoys spending time with her son, Michael Jr., her family and friends, boating at Willow Bay, walks on the Pitt trail, taking trips to Buffalo, Erie, and Pittsburgh and spoiling her 3 four legged children.
